The seven-speed S tronic and quattro all-wheel drive ensure dynamic driving and a sporty feeling.
Thanks to the electric motor, the Audi Q5 TFSI e can use only electric drive for short, daily journeys. In longer journeys, the car takes full advantage of the advantages of the internal combustion engine, which allows it to cover long distances.
Charging the new Audi Q5 TFSI e is simple and the battery works efficiently, recovering some of the energy while driving, through a recuperation process. As a result, after driving longer distances on the highway the electric drive can be re-used for example when entering the city.
This car can use 4 modes while driving: full electric (EV), hybrid (Auto Hybrid), Battery Charge and Battery Hold to use energy in the next stages of the journey. The standard Audi Charging System Compact enables convenient charging at home.
It consists of a control unit, a cable connecting to the vehicle and two different power cables (for domestic and industrial sockets).
And the e-tron Charging Service gives access to charging stations across Europe, individual tariffs for city commuters, intelligent route guidance and an overview of all charging processes and bills.
The segmented construction of lights in OLED technology allows you to create unique lighting choreographies. When the dynamic mode is selected in the Audi drive select, the signature will change, stylistically emphasizing the car’s sporting capabilities. Should another car approach less than two meters from the rear, all OLED segments are activated automatically to alert the driver of the other vehicle and increase the visibility of the Audi Q5 TFSI e.
