Volkswagen’s best-selling SUV in a hybrid version offers up to 245 hp of power, driving comfort in the blissful silence provided by an electric battery and great standard equipment. The benchmark among SUVs is available with drive, that is the optimal solution for those who want to cover daily distances solely on electricity.
The new Tiguan eHybrid is another step into the future. The plug-in hybrid drive with TSI electric motor and combustion engine enables extremely efficient driving. Whether you want to pop into the city for a while or go camping – the Tiguan eHybrid will take you everywhere, and the driving profile selection function will allow you to quickly select the optimal driving mode.
After a full charge of the battery, the Tiguan eHybrid is able to travel about 50 km in electric mode (according to WLTP), and therefore emission-free.
Charging the Tiguan eHybrid is easy. At home, with a charging power of 2.3 kW, the lithium-ion battery will be fully charged after approx. 5 hours. And if you use a public charging station or the optional Wallbox, such as our ID.Charger4.5, with a charging power of 3.6 kW, the battery will be 100% charged again after 3 hours 40 minutes.

The LED rear lights and the optional Matrix IQ.LIGHT LED headlamps show the Tiguan in full brilliance. In the Tiguan Elegance and the Tiguan R-Line, the headlamps have a cornering light function and, in the package with the new taillights, are supplemented with a dynamic high-beam assistant: depending on the situation, individual LED segments are switched on or off (standard equipment of the Tiguan Elegance; for the Tiguan R-line available on request). This not only improves the driving comfort, but also the comfort of drivers in front of the Tiguan or oncoming traffic. The dynamic direction indicators are also spectacular, showing the direction of the turn with the smooth change of the lights.
The spacious interior of the new Tiguan is a place for those who think far ahead. With intuitive, driver-oriented cockpit elements, you can now focus on what’s most important. For example, the multi-functional leather steering wheel or the Digital Cockpit with 26 cm (10.25 inch) TFT color screen as standard equipment for the Tiguan Elegance and the Tiguan R-Line make it easier. In the Life equipment version, the driver and front passenger can enjoy the greater comfort of the seats. LED interior lighting at the front and rear as well as ambient lighting (standard Tiguan Elegance and Tiguan R-Line; available on request for Tiguan Life) create an atmosphere in which everyone will feel at home.
