VW ID. 4
The ID.4 is an SUV that enables sporty and comfortable driving. Under its original body there is a spacious interior with many modern solutions in the field of operation, information, multimedia and assistance systems. The ID.4 is Volkswagen’s first electric SUV and the brand’s first electric model to be produced on several continents.
The ID.4 is the second in the family of Volkswagen’s emission-free models, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of electric motorization, but also in the history of the Wolfsburg brand. Like its little brother, the ID.3, the ID.4 is built on a modular MEB floor platform intended for the construction of electric cars. The ID.4 with a 77 kWh battery that allows you to cover up to 520 km and accelerating to 100 km per hour in 8.5 seconds, is initially available in two versions: ID.4 1ST and ID.4 1ST Max. The number of models in versions available at launch is limited to 27,000 units.
Making its debut on the market, the ID.4 1ST version is equipped with 20-inch wheels, an in-house Style Pack and tinted rear windows. The front seats and steering wheel are heated, and the ambient lighting, available in 30 colors, provides an additional ambience in the interior.
The ID.4 travel comfort is enhanced by the dual-zone Climatronic air conditioning and a heated windscreen. Also standard on the 1ST version are the Discover Pro navigation system, four USB Type-C inputs and numerous assistance systems such as Front Assist, predictive cruise control ACC and Lane Assist.
The luggage compartment capacity of the Volkswagen ID.4 is 543 liters and can be extended to 1,575 liters by folding the rear seatbacks down. The luggage compartment has a net that holds the luggage, a net that separates the cargo space from the passenger space, and a height-adjustable floor.
The higher Max version includes almost all possible equipment as standard. These are i.a. LED matrix headlamps, 3D LED rear lights and 21 ” wheels. Variable progressive steering and adaptive DCC suspension ensure even better handling. The strip between the headlights and the recesses of the handles are illuminated with LED diodes. The interior of this version is very comfortable. Standard features include electrically adjustable seats, a panoramic glass sunroof, sound-absorbing windows, 3-zone automatic air conditioning, and an electric lift and lower tailgate with “Easy Open & Close” touchless operation. The multimedia equipment is complemented by an augmented reality head-up display, a 12-inch infotainment screen and a telephone system with wireless charging. The Travel Assist, Side Assist and Emergency Assist assistance systems ensure the highest level of driver support.
